September 2010 – Prove It! Live, Love, Laugh Abundantly

In the Science of Mind/Unity faith and philosophy, we find spiritual principles that teach us how to live, love and laugh abundantly. Science of Mind founder Ernest Holmes wrote he would “rather see a student of this Science prove its Principle than to have him repeat all the words of wisdom that have ever been uttered.” During the month of September, we set out prove the principles behind living, loving and laughing abundantly. Talk 1 – Are You a ‘Go-Getter’ or a ‘Go-Giver’?
The Go-Giver, a delightful parable by Bob Burg and John David Mann, sets forth five Laws of Stratospheric Success based on the foundational principle of living, loving and laughing abundantly. Today we begin to unwrap this foundational principle and then dig deeper into it each week.

Talk 2 – What Do You Bring to the Table?
According to The Go-Giver, great fortunes in the world have been created by men and women who had a greater passion for what they were giving – their products, their services or their ideas – than for what they were getting. Today we look at the first two Laws of Stratospheric Success by asking “what do you bring to the table?”

Talk 3 – Enlightened Self Interest
The Third and Fourth Laws of Stratospheric Success invite you into “enlightened self interest” by realizing that when you genuinely care about meeting the needs of others, then your interests will be taken care of as well – always and in all ways!

Talk 4 – The Final, Ultimate Key to Living, Loving and Laughing Abundantly
The Fifth Law of Stratospheric Success according to The Go-Giver may come as a surprise. It may even seem inconsistent with all we have discussed this month.
